Course Description
The Bachelor of Business Information Technology (BBIT) is an interdisciplinary undergraduate programme that integrates business management with modern information technology to prepare graduates for the rapidly evolving digital economy. The programme equips students with the technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills required to design, develop, implement, secure, and manage technology-driven business solutions across diverse industries.
The curriculum provides a strong foundation in programming, database management, systems analysis and design, software engineering, networking, business information systems, web and mobile application development, artificial intelligence, data analytics, cybersecurity, digital transformation, e-commerce, and enterprise systems. Students also gain essential business competencies in accounting, finance, economics, marketing, management, entrepreneurship, and strategic decision-making, enabling them to bridge the gap between technology and business operations.
The programme emphasizes experiential learning through practical laboratories, industry projects, research, industrial attachment, and real-world problem-solving.
