About this programme
The Master of Arts in Development Studies is a postgraduate programme delivered by School of Humanities and Development Studies through MUA's Open, Distance & eLearning directorate. Designed for working professionals across Africa, it runs over 2 years in a evening format combining flexible self-paced study with live sessions, mentorship and assessment. Applications for the SEPTEMBER - DECEMBER 2026 INTAKE ONGOING intake are now open.
