Admissions
How do I apply for admission?
You can apply online through the Admissions section of the website. Fill in the application form, upload the required documents, and submit. You will receive an email update once your application has been reviewed.
Can I apply if I studied outside Kenya?
Yes. Applicants with foreign qualifications can apply, provided their certificates are evaluated and approved by the relevant recognition authorities.

What are the entry requirements for ODeL programmes?
Entry requirements are the same as those for corresponding face-to-face programmes and are guided by CUE and University regulations.
How do I register for courses each semester?

Can I change from face-to-face to ODeL or vice versa?

What is Open, Distance and e-Learning (ODeL)?
ODeL is a flexible mode of study that allows students to access learning materials, lectures, and assessments online using digital platforms, with limited physical attendance where required.
Are ODeL programmes at MUA recognized and accredited?
Yes. ODeL programmes at MUA are developed and delivered in compliance with the Commission for University Education (CUE) standards and approved University policies.
Who can enroll in an ODeL programme?
ODeL programmes are suitable for working professionals, entrepreneurs, and learners seeking flexibility while pursuing quality university education.
Is ODeL equivalent to face-to-face learning?
Yes. ODeL programmes follow the same curriculum, assessment standards, and academic requirements as face-to-face programmes.
Will my certificate indicate that I studied through ODeL?
No. Certificates awarded by the University do not indicate the mode of study.

Students access the LMS using their official student login credentials provided upon registration.
What if I miss a live online class?

Yes. Lecturers engage students through LMS forums, scheduled virtual consultations, and official University communication channels.
Who supports me if I have difficulties using the LMS?
Technical support is provided by the ICT Department and the ODeL support team.
